MODELS & CONFIGURATIONS
The VUE™ family of street and roadway fixtures are designed to meet the requirement of local streets,
roadways and highways. The Type II Medium light pattern provide excellent, even coverage for almost any street layout. The
uniformity of the light provides superior visibility and safety. All VUE™ fixtures are constructed of long lasting aluminum
with the highest quality powder coating. These units are built to last. Our exclusive Copper Composite™ heat sink design
and other advanced thermal management technologies keep the LEDs cool, thus delivering many years of useful service. Our
industry leading 7-year warranty* demonstrates the proven reliability customers have come to expect from Relume. Relume
uses only reliable CREE LEDs. Our patent pending optics are custom designed for street lighting.
LED LIGHT / QUALITY
Three colors of white light (expressed in degrees Kelvin); 3500K, 4500K and 6000K are available to best suit the application.
The premium CREE LEDs are rated to maintain at 70% of initial lumen output for 85,000 or more hours at an average ambient
temperature of 60°F, and for 75,000 or more hours at an average ambient temperature of 80°F. VUE™ fixtures deliver clear,
clean and uniform light over the target pattern.
ADVANCED DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
Power coated aircraft quality 6061 aluminum housings are rugged, non-rusting and virtually maintenance free. VUE™ fixtures
are wet rated. All units are tested for vibration and shock resistance. Proprietary Copper Composite™ heat management systems
ensures excellent thermal management and low LED junction temperatures—the key to long LED life.
LENSES
Each LED lens incorporates high impact UV stabilized, non-yellowing polycarbonate or acrylic lenses.
CONTEMPORARY DESIGN WITH TOOL LESS TOPSIDE ACCESS
The Relume VUE™ family of fixtures are uniquely designed with topside toolless access to the slip-fitter and terminal block
for easy wiring and installation.
BALANCED PERFORMANCE / EFFICIENCY
A full range of performance options allows matching the right street light to the specific application. Sized to meet the
needs of residential streets, arterial roadways and highways.
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
Relume VUE™ roadway fixtures are energy efficient, mercury and lead-free, and comply fully with the Restriction of Hazardous
Substances Directives (RoHS). VUE™ fixtures emit no significant UV or IR radiation and are compliant with the dark skies
initiatives which aims to reduce light pollution and its associated wildlife impacts. VUE™ housings are fully recyclable.
ELECTRICAL
Each power supply (driver) operates over voltages ranging from 120-277 volts (50-60 Hz). A line voltage 347-480 volts (50-60
Hz) driver is also available at an additional cost. The driver is highly efficient with a power factor of greater than 0.98
and a total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 20%. Fluctuations in line voltage have no effect on the luminous output.
Drivers have voltage surge protection to withstand high repetition noise transients while meeting Radio Frequency Interference
(RFI) emission limits set forth in FCC Title 47, Subpart B, Section 15.
WIRING
All wiring conforms to requirements set forth in Section 13.02 of the ITE Publication: Equipment and Material Standards,
Chapter 2 and reciprocal UL requirements. ENVIRONMENTAL All Relume Light Engines and fixtures fully comply with the Restriction
of Hazardous Substances Directives (RoHS) adopted in February 2003 by the European Union and are fully recyclable.
QUALITY ASSURANCE - RELUME'S MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IS ISO 9001:2008 CERTIFIED
Relume VUE™ fixtures have been independently tested and meet FDOT environmental requirements A615-2 (Operating Voltage and
Frequency), A615-4 (Temperature and Humidity), A615-5 (Vibration), A615-6 (Shock), A615-7 (Transients: Power Service, Input-Output
Terminals and Non-Destruct Transient Immunity). During production, each light engine is functionally tested and certified
by Relume’s rigorous internal QA process. A quality control tracking label, including date of manufacture, is mounted on
the inside of each fixture. Every VUE™ fixture is made in the U.S.A. at Relume's main facility, governed by an ISO 9001:2008
certified manufacturing system. LEDs
VUE™ fixtures use only CREE high performance LEDs. FULLY TESTED
LM 79, LM80, In-Situ Thermal and industry vibration testing plus full IES files are available from Relume.
